About us
Flatirons Firearms Training is comprised of insured NRA and USCCA instructors. We are also working NRA-certified Range Safety Officers, teaching on the range – in the moment – every day. We enjoy introducing new shooters, and particularly women, to firearm safety and responsible ownership. We recognize that shooting for the first time can seem a bit intimidating. Our classes are a safe and non-threatening environment geared towards curious minds. We strive to eliminate the intimidation factor.

I have a passion for teaching newcomers the elements of attitude, safety, responsibility, and proficiency in gun ownership. I serve part-time as a Range Safety Officer at a couple of shooting ranges in northern Colorado, and I enjoy ammunition hand loading/reloading in my spare time.
I received my NRA hunter safety card when I was 10-years old. I hunt elk, deer, pheasant, turkey and other upland birds. In 2023 I went on my first hunt for javelina in the deserts of southern Arizona.
I am an avid scuba diver with a Rescue Diver certification from PADI. I also enjoy, camping, fishing, ATV-ing, and the RV life.
